image 1. error WMV cannot save

Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location, Verify that the original sourcee file used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that theres is enough the disk space available, and then try again.

  • File gambar -> gunakan bitmap
  • File audio/musik -> gunakan .wav, .wma atau .wmv
  • File Video -> gunakan format .wmv atau DV-AVI.

=======<English Translation>=======

Recently i got the problem with rendering video using Windows Movie Maker (WMM). The problem occur while i want to save to my computer harddrive but the WMM gives an error cannot complete the save movie wizard.

Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location, Verify that the original sourcee file used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that theres is enough the disk space available, and then try again.

Then i tried to make more free space on my harddrive, The target was Drive C :). It takes a time to make some (enough) free space, as a result the Drive C had more than 2 GB. So the next step is i tried to save again my project movie, but the error message still exist. After googling i found that my problem is the type of file video that i used. MY PROBLEM SOLVED after change/convert the clips or video using the (non) problematic video file type for WMM.

There is the Files that will work without problems, or rather should work without problems are;
Video – DV-AVI or WMV
Music/Audio – WAV, WMA or WMV
Stills/Pictures – Bitmap
